Sent in my 73 a couple weeks back because of wobble in main blade. They had great communication the whole way through. Apparently I needed a new pin so they fixed it and sent it to inspection and I got it a couple days later. Some of the best customer service I've had, up there with spyderco.

Proud owner of a scout and a barlow. Great blades, great company.

Edit: And I just noticed that they polished up the blades. They both had some staining from fruit. They really went the full mile on this one.

That's good to hear. GEC makes some really nice knives, and one would expect them to stand behind them.

NOT for my money!!I will NEVER spend another $ on any gec product.
Was LIED to & basically told to F-off from their sales manger.
This :jerkit: is what I think of this Co.

Wow, that's so much the opposite of the recent experience I had with GEC - which was thoroughly courteous and professional.
With very fast turnaround as well.

Could you explain what happened?

The"'incident" was well documented here on BF (in the Tradtional Forum) and also at AAPK & Knifeforums. It's been a couple of years ago now, when they were just getting going. I received a knife that had some issues with the pile side scale. I ask if I could exchange it for another, was promptly told that "there was nothing wrong with the knife & I could return it if I wanted because there was a waiting list for this knife & they would sell it for more $ than they sold it to me. But there was no replacements"
Then about a week later the same person listed a few of the same knife on ebay.
