Another unpleasant experience with 007 Agent Zzero

007, you also don't address why it's ok to tell people you have a deal and then back out of it like you don't.:o Your word is all you have here and it isn't looking good.:(

It's not ok, which is why I said sorry to B.Dai. I genuinely feel bad we didn't work something out. I am a little frustrated as he initially led on that he would purchase the HH outright and then it turned into a trade offer. I can fully understand what B.Dai is feeling because I have been on the recieveing end of about 10 deals just like this, but I did not take my frustration to this level. I see no reason to belittle someone based on a knife deal, even though I have felt the frustration and been in the same predicament. B.Dai if you would like to email me I would like to try to work this out. I was under the impression that he made a final offer and if I was unhappy the deal was over. I shouldn't have agreed to the trade, I should have let the deal go. Unfortunately I did agree then back out and for that I am sorry B.Dai.

Alternatively, you should post your feedback if/when someone pulls this on you as well. That's the reason it's done, so the rest of us can make better decisions before getting involved with a potential flake. You may feel like you are taking the "high ground" by not submitting your negative interactions but in actuality you may be doing a disservice to yourself as well as the rest of us.

I agree with G3. Please share with the rest of us your bad experiences here on BF. Please be specific with names and timeframes so that we can judge for ourselves. Feel free to post e-mails or other communications to support your negative experiences.

3) Noone here really cares if you have bills, tuition, etc. We all have something that we are responsible for. Regardless of your story sounding fishy anyway, since others stated you've contacted them in the meantime, but really that has nothing to do with agreeing to 2 deals and backing out afterwards. If you had thought about what you wanted to do clearly, you wouldn't have 2 strikes against you to date.

That's just about right from where I sit. 2 strikes and not looking good, we don't NEED to KNOW you, 007, we just NEED to know if you are Good or Bad as a seller or trader, and like I said, you are not looking to good, and it is in the open for everyone to see.

I disagree about your statement of deals being flakey here. I average about 30 deals a year, and have yet to have a bad deal in over 3 years of trading. Of course, YMMV.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Just to be clear these are the only strikes in the book. There is a good amount of positive feedback on me if you look. I just find that people pay more attention to the negative, me included. Kohai you are being judgemental, it seems like you are easing up but still being judgemental. Hopefully this situation will be worked out.

If my memory serves correct, my first email via BF said,

"I'll take it IF the HHFSH means HOFSH".

And my second email is

"...Just to let you know, I also have a Swamp Rat M6 w/ Buy Brown Kydex sheath and a Mole Jack w/ on/scene tactical Concealex sheath for trade".

And I said I wanted the money, not to trade, then you said all you could offer was a trade. And you asked a question, Saying Does HHFSH = Heavy Ordinance Grade FSH. There was no IF B.Dai.

Here is the email in fact:

Hi,

Is the HHFSH is the same meaning of Heavy Ordnance Fusion Steel Heart,
I'll take it. Thanks.

the first Is is a grammar mistake of If, sorry for my typo. And look at the comma.

Can you post the email that I said "all I could offer was trade"? I said I "PREFER a trade" and "the price you asked is beyond my budget"; and that's why we bargained. 007, if you want to pick up my typos or to show your innocence from our emails, you can, or I can put all the contents of our emails in this thread without any changes to let other members make their judgements. Thanks.

That is pretty darn easy to figure out without any explanation.

007, you have to stop accepting deals and then backing out of them. It's that simple.

SIRGALANT, business is business. Even though I don't like him after he changed his mind, the deal was there and I really liked that knife.

fair enough.

We should have two for sale sections. one for mature, responsible and DECISIVE BF members who care about their reputations.

AND one for little boys!!!

I know where you fit zero..........................

I have always been under the impression that the proper way to conduct business here was this: Once you say "deal" then you are commited. None of this yes, no, yes, no garbage.

I know that I have sold or traded items that just as soon as I said DEAL I would get a better offer...too bad for me, I always go with my first commitment. I also have items I regret selling, but again once I have said "deal" it is my responsibility to follow through.

007, the way it sounds is that you did indeed say "deal" then backed out. It also seems that you were then waiting to find the best offer...thats no good man. You had alread made a deal, all future offers should not be considered after having commited already.

Vegas rules. Once you say "deal" don't expect them to let you out of it. :D

That's pretty mature. And you didn't have to break into your porn stash for us.:jerkit:

And wow, 7 of the same post. You're a rocket scientist aren't you? No offense meant to rocket scientists.

You Know, I was really considering getting a gold membership, but if thats the kind of CRAP that gets posted here it may be time to move on !!!!
