Another "WOW"

Yeah, I didn't even bother to bid.

Fun to watch, though. Nice knife......wonder if anybody here got it?

Not that I'm going to make a habit of it, but for the last week or so I've thought I've been combing the auctions well, yet for some reason I've passed over or did not see this one.

When I comb, I usually am looking for something specific, I guess maybe that's why.

(In reference to garryale's post)

If it is a knife interesting to whom at this forum I could concede
for do not send far and expensively to Russia.

Go for it, garryale, if you wish. I have many other irons in the fire, so to speak. There are still 4 days left, sometimes those things skyrocket in the final hours.

Looks like you have a lot of competitors, Gary......and you may have more as more people read this thread.

Oh well, the more, the merrier........(as we say in America).

:D

Shall we guess at what it will sell for????

My guess is 250 good American greenbacks.

That's a good point to remember if you see something you really want. Keep silent on it until the bidding is over, or you may be raising your own price.

My guess, between 1 and 2.

Igor,

I would not spend much on this one as it no longer has a Buck warranty. It was altered by the fellow who is selling it.

The person offering it is a knifemaker. I would guess that the workmanship is good and he would honor it, if there was something wrong. He is on the forum at times, I've dealt with him and he's an honest player. I'd take the risk, if indeed I was interested in this knife. In garryale's case, it would go to Russia so even a Buck warranty would be problematic in terms of transits.

I didn't know of that seller either, so I would have been leary of bidding too much for it. I've bought modified knives from sellers before and in at least two cases the knives looked much better in the pictures than they did in hand. Since then, I've stuck to known (at least to me) manglers.

Aaah you blew it Plum, thats the mystery knife:eek::p

just kidding to any legalists out there;)

I will assume it will be sold between 140 and 180 USD.
I only have warmed up starting activity of bids, it is interesting to look the ending.
But it is realy good looking knife, with the good Crusible s powder steel on a blade.

In any case thanks a lot to all for the advice.
And of course excuse me for off top.
