Anti Knife Campaign in UK

Zero carry here .. All knives are banned from being carried , even multi tools with a knife blade .
I used to carry an original Leatherman ( the 1st one ) .. That's a no no now !
Welcome to Australia , commie central ! ( Super Nany on Steroids )
Yeah, but I think in England now you might get arrested for just writing that post.

Crocodile Dundee would weep

Once they take your guns then they come for your knives, bows, and probably anything that can be used as a weapon. I wonder when they will start pulling peoples canine teeth??
A one inch Chinese 80gbp knife can kill like a 3 inch can.
I actually wouldn't carry one of my ka bar collection in public 😆
You're quite well educated on knives obviously so could you tell me legally how I could sell some high cost items please mate.
By the way,we'll probably have kitchen knives banned soon and 9nly cutting with one plastic universal knife, its total control Pal

There are many people on this forum that are much more educated on knives than I am. Compared to them, I'm a rookie. I don't have any idea about the laws in other countries about selling items. You should seek a local professional. I hear and read things but that doesn't mean that everything is true.

It's crazy because the goverment ban knives which people already own, and when they dispose of them, a video comes out saying " Look at what the young people are carrying on our streets". Jokers.

What BS!! What do they have against blades? Not everyone is using them for assaults. Gotta blame everyone

Yes. All blades are under 3" and it's a slipjoint.
The nuances are WHERE you are and what you'redoing/why you have it on you. If you get searched at a bar/nightclub in the evening, expect to have it confiscated. Going into a 'public place' with any knife or blade raises the hackles and people who don't understand the knife laws would probably err on the side of removing the threat than sticking to the guidance. If I went into town with Buck 301, in the day, to do some shopping, chances are exceptionally slim I would even be stopped anyway. But if I was, I would be within my rights to not have it confiscated. If I was going to pop into the movies, I'd pro ably leave the knife in the truck anyway, just not worth the hassle of getting stopped (albeit an exceptionally slim chance).
The 'good' outcome of the knife laws in the UK are that if you look like a neat, professional, respectable person, there is a highly unlikely chance that you will be stopped and searched. If you look like some druggie thug in tracksuit bottoms and sneakers, then the chances are higher.
Unfortunately, and sadly for our British brothers and sisters, that sounds pretty draconian to me.
