Any benefit to clamping systems vs. Edge Pro?

EP now can add magnets to the Pro. They drill a hole from the side near the end of the blade table then slide a stack of round magnets into it. For more information check out their 2-minute video.

One of the nice things I like on my hapstone m2, it has the magnets already and uses a blade alignment tool similar to what Diemaker designed for the EP. But it also has a piece of metal on the end that when the blade is on the platform, and aligned with the guides, you slide it up to the bottom of the blade to keep it from rocking front to back as you slide your stones across the blade Very stable setup.
I saw the other day they have come out with a set of clamping jaws that can be added to the M2 now? Excited at first till I saw the price, lol. It makes sense material wise, but reality is you can buy an m2 for $169 or so with the gen 2 swivel, but the new jaw is $199!! I can’t justify that one lol
I’d love to try one, or maybe even review it. May be worth the price once using it, but you could get the k1 new for around the total price invested. I’m gonna keep my eye on it either way. Shows they’re trying to keep growing and innovating.

Really happy with my EP now with the magnets and slide guide. It's a huge improvement for knives that can be held in one spot.

I noticed a couple of things on his I will apply to mine. His is definitely a beefier, well built design.
