I read a lot of negative things about the Congress pattern but it has always been one of my favorites. Below is an image of some my Congress knives with a selection of sizes, brands and handle materials. Any other fans out there?

Those are some nice ones...and a cool picture.

I do like the way the Congress lays in my hand for pull cuts, but I'm not as excited about the blade repetition...although I know some have different blades on the Congress frame.
Here is my one EDC.....

I am, I find a Stockman to be slightly more usefull for EDC, but the Congress comes in a close second.

They can be small and not repetitious even though the standard would have 4 blades. The little NYK two blade congress in the upper left corner with the celluloid scales is thin and small. I used to carry it years ago.

I love the congress! always have!!

Great pattern, very "useful". I have always like the boker made congresses, have owned allot over the years.

Did you know that when Pesident Lincoln was shot he was carrying a Congress pattern 6 bladed knife?

I had always heard that Lincoln carried a congress knife, I wonder who was the manufacturer of his congress??

Outstanding collection Knife Outlet!! Out of the knives pictured name your top three...Matter of fact if you don't mind please list the knives in the picture..Thanks

The late Jim Parker even went so far as to do a 3 1/2", 6-bladed Congress...and call it "Abe's knife."

i'm not too thrilled with the smaller models but several years ago i found an old case bone handled congress which was pretty large. carried it for a while and, of course, traded it off for the knife of the moment. great knife. later, ahgar

I've been very tempted to pick up a two blade (half) Congress. Looks like a useful, sheeple-friendly, pattern for office carry.

someone posted the info on it here; I think that it is in the smithsonian, as said here.

I like em just fine! I only have two currently, a Camillus Yello-Jaket, which has become the knife I usually reach for in the morning when going to work, and a stag, long shield Boker. (yeah, you've seen these before.)

The serrated sheepsfoot on the Camillus really adds to the versatility of the knife, giving you a choice between the serrated or a plain sheepsfoot in the same, easy to carry package.

I have to say that your Tree Brand congress calls to me...Nice looking knife...

Thank you, sir.

Don't suppose the stag might have anything to do with it do you? ;) I know I love that particular stag look better than the lighter types.

That's a nice collection Fred.
How long has it taken you to round those up, if I might ask?
