Any Fighter pics?

Not your typical fighter but a fighter none the less. Forged 3 1/2" 1084 blade with a distal taper and a taperered tang. The handle slabs are hippo ivory. The scanner added some weird shadows to the blade, sorry. I have to get a good digital camera.

Murray,

It appears that the PKA show will be the weekend of Aug 15, 16 &17.

More a bowie than a fighter but....

Robb Hudson - ghost damascus blade, etched wrought iron fittings, stab'ed walnut handle....
....priceless...

Joss,

That Hudson Bowie is right at the top of my list of all-time favorite knives I've ever seen posted here on bladeforums. Beautiful.

Cheers,

Roger

Here's an oldie from my collection:

Charles Ochs Special Ops Bowie - 8" blade, polished stag with brass guard, but cap and spacers.

All pics by me, but courtesy of www.TheCustomKnife.com, a pending but VERY prominent website that is under construction. Stay posted! All of these and many more are offered for sale.

I have a 'Texas' fighter that is due to arrive in a week. Let me just say this will KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!!!! And I have handled some pretty fine knives lately....! (as you can see!) He he he!

Coop, will you adopt me?

;)
Seriously, I think I have downloaded just about every pic in the thread.
Are those flowers and leaves in the Muller blade?

They are all too cool, everybody :)

Keep 'em coming

Coop,

Nice stuff. Are the fittings on the Friedley knife wrought iron?

The Siska knife reminds me of pics I've seen of Point of Interest of knives by some student of Jerry Rados who did a lot of handles like that: bar-guards flushed with carved stag and carved butt-plate and nut. I can't friggin' remember his name right now (Veidt maybe?), but he also had the most *amazing* Turkish damaskus.

*Very* nice stuff on this site! Wow - including 2 Don Fogg! Hmm.... When do they launch?

I don't know. It is definitely an antiqued finish. Very clean.

No specific's, because the site developer isn't done. You can call one of the owners, Stephen, on prices right now. His number is on that homepage.

This thread has gotten even MORE wonderful, with the addition of those Hill Knives. YOWEEE!! Thanks for the reminder and details, Joss!

Yeah, there's a lot to be said for the Germanic school of integrals. There are several other makers who're really good at that - Dietmaar Kressler, Tarcis Holtzer (who recently passed away - he was French but from an area that shares much of its culture w/ Germany), etc...

Damn Eric! I near missed this one!

heres one from JEB, an Australian maker. A bit of Hobbit and some!:D

This is Chisel ground and zero edge. Peter is going to make me a V gound version of this little baby and a bit different (Thx Pete ;)). Got to have the pair! And yes, photo taken on my favourite rock again!;)
The feel of this in the hand is undescribable!
