Any Folder to Fixed Blade EDC converts out there?

I've carried a fixed blade since a foolish childhood accident almost cost me some fingers.:thumbdn:

Later the Army further reinforced the fact that I could dig/cut/hack/saw/stab/scrape...well you get the idea...with a fixed blade.

Less moving parts / less to go wrong. just my opinion.

EDC for work (business casual) is my Kershaw Mini Mojito. Kershaw Bump for the weekends. Just ordered and Izula and will be carrying that as well. So plans are to have a small folder (mini mojito) for use on workdays with the Izula as back up, and the Bump/Izula combo on weekends.

I carry a Izula most days.I just like the convenience of it being always ready and no lock to fail.

I wish I could EDC an Izula; however, California (like a few other states) feels fixed blades have no business carried in public. So for now I'll have to make do with a Spyderco Endura. I'll be watching the ESEE folder releases to see how much of a challenge they will be to the Endura. :)

since a young age i've carried a pocket knife everyday, everywhere(well, not on airlines these days...). fixed blades were for camping and hunting etc. and tho ive collected and carried many fixed blades over the years. it wasnt until i was gifted with my first izula that i started carrying a fixed everyday(on my person-have carried a fixed in my bag for years). couldnt imagine not carrying at least a small fixed on my person, everyday now.

I used to carry a spyderco folder. I lost it. I decided to try the Izula. It is now my favorite EDC. I love the simplicity and durability of this knife, as well as it versatility.
