I'm really getting tired of taking my chances buying over the internet & would like to handle a knife B4 I buy it.The Walmarts over here suck(mostly Chinese crap). We have the NJ firearms guild in Rahway,NJ,but they're more gun related & have a limited amount of knives at outrageous prices.I'd really like for them to open a Bass pro shop or a Cabelas in the area, but that's not gonna happen, due to there not being much of an demand for such things in liberal Jerzee.

Any Jerseyans got any suggestions?I'd greatly appreciate any tips you guys can offer.

Thnaks,

They are indeed opening a Cabela's in NJ but in the Meadowlands. I think it'll open next year. Should be nice, eventually. Other than that, I have no idea I'm in the same boat.

There's Campmor on route 17 in Paramus

810 Route 17 North
Paramus, New Jersey 07652

I don't think they carry anything exotic , but I know the last time I was over there they did have some knives.

I was at the Paramus Campmor about 2-3 months ago and their knife selection wasnt too great. 2-3 Spydercos, a few Wenger SAK's, a couple Gerbers, and 1-2 Leathermans. And that's it.

If you are :30 from the Meadowlands you are in NJKCA country. We meet in Clark once a month and if you ask ahead of time, we may have someone with the knives you're interested in to bring them to play with.

And you get to meet us, too. :) (See the link in my sig line.)
