After using a Leek for a year and liking it just ok for it's price point and customer service, I think SOG Twitches and the Kershaw Cruo are worth considering.

You could grab some smaller Cold Steel folders for around $50.

Unfortunately I've only had the opportunity to test a select few EDC knives, but from what I've owned; the Spyderco Dragonfly and Kershaw Skyline are among my favorites. I suppose I'm more fond of smaller knives, but it only makes them more appropriate for EDC.
