Any ideas for the next Group Buy?

The Shaman, Gaucho, and Handyman are well-represented so far. I think they’ll deserve a fair chance if a poll gets used to gauge interest. Same goes for the Bushnub, Duke, Monarch....so many awesome choices!

Funny, I tried typing “Sirupate,” but it keeps auto-correcting to “Lil Lady.” ;)

And let’s not forget The Karda Family....of which, I’d vote for the OS or ED variants.

@Odaon makes a great point about post-Blade recovery time, not to mention settling in at the new shop. Perhaps early July might be a realistic time frame?

Or better yet, how about a Mini Gaucho??? The Gaucho has a blade just over 4" and an OAL of 8 3/4". If it could be scaled down nicely to have a blade around 3 1/2" and an OAL of 7 1/2" that would be something else I think. Sorry for the tangent here but this model variation has been on my mind for a while and after carrying the Gaucho a few days last week, it is SO useful but just doesn't get my carry time due to the size.

If it was just under 3 1/2" I would buy that for sure, until then the Shaman is what I go for because my bushnub is 5/32" and even if it wasn't for me the 3/32"Shaman wins in the kitchen.

I'm down for the lil lady or baby boot for smaller options, but I would jump at a fighter or duke for sure.

I'd be happy with many of the choices mentioned above.

Monarch, Handyman, and OS Karda all get my vote!

Osage, Blackwood or DIW would be cool to see. I'm also liking the look of contrasting pins. The blade between 3/32" and 1/8" (with a swedge if it's the Monarch) would be sweet.

Are tapered tangs ever done on group buy knives?

I'd kill for a two finger karda or something small. Also a plug for a kitchen knife as that's the knife I use most often.

KILLS ME THAT I LOST THIS ONE along with about a dozen of his friends!!!! But I remain hopeful and I'm not sure why?

swonut swonut - I really feel bad for you. I’d be sick over losing any of them, but man, that Karda is special. I’m on the lookout for a 2-finger model. One day....

I’m kind of surprised no one has mentioned a Toboggan yet. And I’ve always been curious about the Bourbon Street Skinner as well.

Some really good ideas being thrown around here, and hopefully folks will continue to chime in so we can help make this wish a reality!

These would pique my interest in a group buy.

1. Elf - Ya'll just don't know how awesome this knife is.

2. Santoku Muk - Because it's a friggin' Santoku Muk!

3. Woodsman - Can you imagine one of the most iconic Fiddlebacks in 1/8 stainless...

So many great ideas... a Bushboot with TT and the right set of scales would be pretty hard to resist.

Then again, if you made a Bullfrog Bowie with a ~6" blade, TT, and some kind of dark burlap, I'd be hooked in a heartbeat. You grind a mean lookin clip point!

I say this without even handling my Forager, which is due to arrive today.

But that might be just my own particular kind of insanity.
