Any knives you've procrastinated buying

Any knives you guys have or had your eye on but never pulled the trigger on or waited quite awhile to pick it up for one reason or another? Truth is I have ton of knives on my wish list (many of which aren't very expensive) I keep procrastinating on getting even when I have the funds for em'. For me it's a Becker (got my eyes on several models) and have had numerous chances to get one but I end up with something else. A Mora Companion is another I keep putting off despite being able to obtain one for under $15 shipped. Plenty of others I keep putting off as well.

I was really anticipating the ZT 0600. I couldn't afford a pre-purchase, and when they came out, I couldn't afford to pick one up, especially in the aftermarket. Prices continued to be high, even used, and I kept putting off buying it. Eventually, I found one for a decent price (still over the original price) but I had to have it.

I keep putting off buying a Spyderco Native. I've owned 2 or 3 before, but they were always such easy trade fodder, to bump up a trade in overall value. I missed the Wal-Mart version of S30V for under $50, and am quite sad I didn't get one then.

I'm still keeping an eye out for one, and most likely will eventually get the flat-ground version in G10, but it's still a bit pricey. Some day...

I've actually just started picking up a bunch of blades I had been wanting to buy but put off for a while:
- Cold Steel Counter Point 1
- Spyderco Vallotton
- CRKT Sakimori
- Cold Steel Bowie Spike

Still on the list:
- Cold Steel Leatherneck (D2 clip point)
- Spyderco Endura ZDP
- Cold Steel Rajah II
- Schrade SCHF27
- Cold Steel Hold Out (Can't decide on I or II!)

I've been on the fence for over a year on a griptillian 550HG, dont know why I cant pull the trigger.

Yeah there's about 10 knives I've said I'd buy before 2016, got 1 of them.
Hope next year is a better one.

I've wanted a BK16 since I got my hands on the preproduction bk17 that made its way out to people as pass around.

Its been... 3-4 years now?

Its on my wish list. And I guess I keep thinking "maybe this year my wife will buy it for me for Christmas". We'll see if I get it this year or not :P.

Rockstead, Kou or Hizen.

Must be some internal panic button which causes buying anxiety attack at prices above $250.

Meantime, if I just didn't continually buy less expensive knives, and/or I sold off some of my collection, I'd easily have the funds for the Rockstead.

Go figure ... quantity trumps quality?

The new lionsteel TRE in CF,the first production ones had a beautiful satin finished blade whereas the newer versions are stonewashed and not as nice at least not to me but hell made still may order one this weekend from knifeart.

Consider distribution of risk as well - four $200 folders means variety, but it also means that losing one means you're out $200 and have three others. Lose one $800 knife, and...

I've been on the fence about a Ritter Grip myself. It's just that I don't like the factory scales. Buying a $140 knife knowing that I'd immediately have to spend another $75+ on scales keeps making me hesitate.

I waited years to buy a Cold Steel Recon 1 to try out the Triad lock I've heard so much about. Finally did it last month. Sure feels secure! Harder to unlock than any other knife I own, but maybe that's the entry fee for the fabled strength and security. There's no way that lock is unlocking by accident.

The CRK Insingo had my interest since at least 2010, but I couldn't decide between the large or the small. I thought I would only get one or the other. It only took me 5 years to decide. This past August, I finally pulled the trigger on a small one, and I liked it so much that, two months later, I got a large (both plain jane, basic versions). Now, one or the other is my EDC (mostly the large right now), along with my usual Victorinox SAKs that I always have on me.

Yeah, this one hits home. I don't know what I am waiting for! Mine are all budget knives and I have no reason for not purchasing them. Most have been in my online shopping cart more than once. Here are the ones I can remember-
1) MAM knives- especially the locking sheepsfoot
2) Mercator k55k
3) Higonakami
4) Buck Bucklite Max- cabelas sandvik version or orange version
5)Opinel slims and garden knife
6)Aitor agricola
7) not so budget Laguiole knife

One day!

ZT 562CF , kershaw OSO Sweet cheap just don't know why I haven't tried one out . SOG flash 1

Been eyeballing the Benchmade 940-1 just cant pull the trigger on it due to my hesitation about liking the AXIS lock since I tend to gravitate towards framelocks.

Paramilitary 2. Put it off a long time, finally relented and picked up a S35VN version on sale from BladeHQ. Should be here soon.

The OSO Sweet is a great knife, with a lot of blade for it's size and the best assist of the budget Kershaws I have tried. I traded mine, but still think I should of kept it occasionally!
