Any left-handed knives in the works?

Sal,

in another thread you said that the LH military is "just beginning"

would you care to be more specific?

just beginning development or just beginning production??? (gotta clear my credit card, ya know ;) )

We are just beginning the project. We have to refine engineering, make new tooling for some parts; clip, liners, arc ramp, etc. Then we begin cutting steel and milling G-10. I think it's a 400 or 500 pcs run.

Hey Sal, will these be available through the dealer network like the other sprint runs or should we contact Spyderco directly?

Thanks,

B

Regular production willbe available through our normal distribution.

Pilots may be availabel through the SFO.

Will it be a standard millie (S30V & G-10) or will we see some different steel ;)

cool

so it should be available in a couple of weeks, eh? :D

I'm also interested. Might get five or six. :D

I honestly think the Millie would be best left alone. Do some limited lefty models on the side, or include a lefty clip with drill/tap for left handed carry. I really love the lightweight elegance the knife brings. It's an asymmetrical uniqueness with the curved clip and lack of holes anywhere else.

I'm really glad to see this. I've been witing for the "right" Spyderco to come along and this looks like it.

Been carrying mine for a few weeks. I smoothed down the agressive G-10 with wet 1500 grit paper. Its' my first Millie, and it was well worth the wait.

Thanks very much to Spyderco for bringing this out.
