Any love for the 950 rift

No, not at all. It is larger than the one on the Pardue (530?) and the edges are rounded. I have no issue with it whatsoever.
 
I have two Contegos and from pics thought it looked bad compared to the Contego. Well today I received one in the mail, along with a Para Military 2.

I haven't got to use it yet, but wow. I like it better than the Contego upon initial impressions.
 
Ya know, I think that is the first picture I have seen Keyman post where the knife contained in the photo had factory scales. Or maybe I am just tired and forgetful.

Where did you get a Para 2 from?? Been looking for a black/camo one for months now with no luck!

Just saw the Benchmade 9555 Rift Automatic Knife. That should take care of any opening issues. Hopefully will be able to find a good price on one.

I have the same model as the one in eschwebach's pic and the thumbstuds are one of the strong points for me. The Rift is one of the best for thumbstud size and placement. They're easy to use and they're placed in a good location to make them accessible... or the handle is well designed around the thumbstuds... or... well, you get the picture.

Hey, I got it from Blade HQ. Unfortunately I think they are all sold out. Someone made a post about Blade HQ having them, so I looked at the website. They had several different configurations, but I think it took about 2 hours for them to sell out.

I will keep a note on my phone, and if I see them anywhere I'll send you a PM.
I didn't know they were in such demand until I started looking too.
