Any love for Trappers?

Thanks Trand. I figured I couldn't love trappers without getting one. :)

I was able to get both of these for less than the price of one. The gentleman who sold them off the auction site could have not honored the sell, but he must have been a man of good character, because it was a steal.

Great additions Brett!! Sorry for bidding you up a bit ;) Those 2 the first regular #48 trappers you have? The bocote looks great and I think the #48 is the only one GEC used the cobblestone jigged bone covers on.

Trand - No worries :) I have, I think, 4 regulars not counting these two. Thinking of getting another cocobolo in a lighter shade.

I have only one trapper at present, but I do like it quite a bit.
Chestnut bone and CV, made in 2000.

Bought these two SS Case Trappers on clearance at a shooting/parts supply house recently. Price was just too good, and I thought they'd make a great gift to the right person at the right time. When I bought them recently, I didn't intend to keep them as I have a yellow delrin CV Trapper we had bought my now deceased father in-law but which he never got to really use.

this 4 1/2 inch monster (closed), when put in a leather pouch, will do all the work of a hunting/survival knife. thing is i don't go to the field anymore, so my "diminutive" GEC big jack is what i edc.
