Any news about Maher & Grosh?

I became aware of M&G during the last run of farmer jacks/friends. Really nice bone and coco handles on the jumbo jacks too! The blade lettering is top notch.

They look like GEC's work to me. You can put a different name on anything. Tires, shoes, spoons........................................

I think you are right, as they are listed on the M&G dealer site under Great Eastern Cutlery too. Seems like "just" another beautiful SFO.😉🙂

M&G was a wholesale cutlery company that originally existed from 1877 to 1988. The name and patterns have been revived a few times over the years, but M&G knives were always made by others knife manufacturers. So yes, this run was made by GEC.

Thank you for clarification B BOHAWG .
As the OVC tang stamp seems to refer to the location of the current owners, all of these knives should have been distributed by them? And also have been made by GEC?
