Any one remember (Grizzly Adams)

If you have not already done so, read a biography of the real G. Adams. He died a year after geing mauled by a bear. It was one of his tamed bears that came to his aide and saved his life. From that attack, he had a hole punctured in his skull in which his brain was exposed. He was sick, needless to say, and died a year later.

Just read "Day of the Grizzly" which includes a chapter on Grizzly Adams. Seems the real Gr. Adams was absolutely nothing like the TV character - big surprise, eh?
