Any recommendations for $1000-$1500 EDC Folder

I don't think it's fair to rule out the Sebenza unless you have actually felt one and used one. For many years, I always wanted one but always passed because I also thought it was just a regular knife. I could not have been more wrong. I have many many high end knives, some that are more expensive than my Sebenzas.....but the quality of the blade and the super fine attention to every detail really do set them apart from almost every other knife. They are my all time favorite knives. I would try and get my hands on one and try it out...if you don't like it, you can send it back. They do have some limited versions that run north of $1K, but you can find something in damascus for an easy $800 with a one of a kind unique graphic design. IMHO!!! Good luck...

I purchased a Gold Leaf Sebenza and I think you right they make a real great knife, but personally when I reach a certain price point I start looking for something else.

True...you can always get something better. I mean....another reason I went for a Starbenza Sebenza was because I dropped almost $4K on the "matching" pistol...so to speak. So, I figured I should have the knife since I have a few of their pistols. LOL

But yes, you can spend more on a folder. It would suck if you got pulled over, padded down, cop finds a knife in your pocket...not like it's a big deal, but he throws it on the hood of his car than falls to the ground getting all scratched up. It sucks when that happens....yeah, it's happened....and I didn't even get an apology. ARGH!!!

$600 is my cut off for carry knives.....

Actually I didnt mean I wouldn't spend that much for a knife. What I meant was when spending over a certain amount I start looking at knives other than from CRK.

How about a Marfione Custom ANAX? They are absolutely gorgeous and the CF models are rare and ultra light weight with mine comming in at only 3.5 ounces.

I have the hardest time exchanging my Hoback A10 with any of my others. It is on the heavier end of your limit, like 5.5oz, but such a great EDC! Highly recommend whichever knife of his you like. Other than that one, I would say Ferrum forge, Sharp by Design. People seem to like Rockstead and William Henry, never owned one though. Also Rod Olson does make great knives, I have one of his damasteel button lock flippers, very nice!

@ Dean Crail - Is that a black and brown carbon fiber? Never seen carbon fiber in that color before, looks great.

Thanks!! It's a black weaved carbon fiber no brown I think it looks that way from the lighting. Still an epically cool knife ad Tony made the handle from one solid piece of carbon fiber so it's technically an integral.

Nice! Would love to check one of those out in person, sounds epic.
Marfione must have like 6 arms or something. I always see large quantities of his customs on every site haha.

Have you considered a Andre Thorburn? Should be well below your price range and makes a truly remarkable knife.
