Any Winkler fans?

I got started with my Belt Knife years ago and have been adding blades. Just received the Field Knife yesterday and am very impressed with it- should have bought one years ago. Went a little wild on the Dynamis Winklers...but like them and finally owning a dagger I enjoy is great. The Case Winkler Skinner is a wonderful blade too btw...light, handy and solid cutter.

Had an Operator for a bit but decided to pass it on.

Here's the current state on my Winkler collection. You have some to post? Lets see 'em!

I don’t have a Winkler but am involved with a group with close ties to Winkler-Sayoc Kali. They sell his hatchet on their website and train seriously in the use of the Winkler as a defensive weapon. And notice the shape of his knives. With the 10” blade regarded by some Philippine knife organizations as the ideal EDC edged weapon. We all carry defensive knives in the 3 5/8 to 4” blade length due to ease in concealment and possible legal issues, but one Philippine martial art group specializing in knife technique states the 10” blade as ideal and the longest for realistic concealment

I really like the Shadow Strike. It incorporates a lot of design elements from the Recovery and Sig operator that I like. I like the kydex but I’m not sure how the wire clip will hold up, I wonder if it can be replaced with a DCC, etc.

Will these be regular website offerings? I’ve seen the Ridge Line on dealer sites but curious if it will be available to order in the handle I prefer

I don't see why you couldn't swap in a DCC clip. I'd be curious to try the wire setup, but for scout carry, I think I'd still prefer a couple pull-the-dot straps.

My understanding is that both will be catalog items, and that the RLH will be available in both wood and composite handle options. The Winkler YT channel has more info on both models. 👍

If the sheath has standard hole spacing, I don't see why you can't use whatever you want in place of the wire clip.
