I'm a big fan. WRC is part of the reason I drive a Subaru.

I wonder what the new Rallies are going to be like this year; Norway, Portugal, & Ireland? I hope there's plenty of snow for the Norwegian Rally!
 
V-1, there was a bump which put the cars airborne which spectators like so much. The car, Mitsubishi, is a bit front heavy so they come down at quite an angle .In any case he came down and lost it and spun around , backing into the pond !! There were 4 pro photographers there so there is a whole series of photos , from the first where you see no car just a huge curtain of water ! ,to one where the drivers are standing on the hood looking a bit unhappy !! www.n2zkx.com [our radio leader] has links to all the photos I think ,if you want to search. YES the bump and pond will be in this spring's rally !!....Don't forget the Swedish rally coming up in a week followed by www.rallynorway.com .They say the weather in Norway has been perfect despite very warm weather in many parts of Norway.

I'll have to try to make it up there this year to check out Rally New York. Heck, you guys might be hosting a WRC Rally soon! I better get up there and get the lay of the land beforehand. :D I'll definitely be hitting the PA Rally this year.

Yeah, I'll be hitting the net looking for the Eurosport feeds of Rally Sweden on 2/12/07. God love bit torrents! :thumbup:

Completely insane. :eek: It should be on the Discovery Channel show Stunt Junkies on Feb. 12 (I think). Here's a little more info on it: http://0-60mag.com/online/?p=318 The pictures are so over the top it's unbelievable. Good stuff for sure.

I've never seen that show before but I will most definitely be watching that episode.

Has it been shown on ESPN2 yet?

Does anyone know where I can find the schedule of when the Rally America races will be televised on ESPN2? I looked all over the ESPN site a while ago and couldn't find it.
 
They are running Rally Sweden right now. Rally Norway is next. This will be a good run of rallies. I love the snow events.
 
I just got done watching the '07 Monte Carlo Rally. Good stuff for sure. Nice driving by Chris Atkinson at the end to capture 4th. Go Subaru! :D
 
You guys in PA and surrounding states, you better be going to STPR. I've been going every year for a while now and its a blast. Its something I look forward to every year.
 
Minjin, STPR rally communications are not good ,so if I went there it wouldn't be as a communications person .Maybe a marshal or a spectator .
 
Subaru retires Solberg !! Since the car must be used next week in Norway and Solberg was not in the running , they decided to pull out and save the car !! Bummer !
