Anybody find the 110 a little too big for EDC?

I do in weight mainly. I thought for a time about getting a 110 Ecolite but I'm too content with my 112 versions.

Between the two I do prefer the 112, however I carry even the 112 in a belt sheath. OH

I like the 112 better as I consider it an all around Knife and the 110 just a tad bit to big ~~ but still a good knife.!!

No, I like the 110 size and weight, though it will wear your jeans out at the bottom where the lowest bolster rides. I like to be able to feel the knife in my pocket. I lost a 500 once, slid out of my pocket getting out of my truck that was parked up hill. I woulda noticed the 110 not there right away.

I'm another one that the 112 feels too small in my hand.

I carry a 110 in a belt sheath when I wear jeans, but mostly carry a 110 with a pocket clip added to it in my rf pocket.

I felt both and liked both but I just can't see myself walking around with a 110 in belt sheath as an edc.

Carried a Puma 970 Game-Warden (Buck 110 clone?) for years in my back pocket, even managed to get passed the airline check. Also carried in a sheath.

They don't call it the hunter for nothing. If I hunted or needed it for that kind of work I would get one but drifting around in suburbia as an EDC, I'll take the 112 and 55 over the 110. Great knife but it's just a little too much knife for my needs.

For me I feel the 110 is a bit big. I would like it better if it was a bit thinner. A thinned down 112 would be perfect. I do own quite a few 110's but do not carry them as a EDC.

I certainly don't need an EDC that large. The Buck 301 fills that roll nicely.

The blade is small compared to what I usually like to carry, but I still carry the 110 sometimes even though it's heavy.... the 110 is fun to carry because of the nostalgia.

I always thought so. Never bought one. Had a 112 for 30+ years, and it worked well for me.

I often carry a Vantage Small now.

The 110 all the way for me, wear everyday in a sheath. iIt is an earlier version so it is a little thinner and feels better in my hand. New or old nothing but a 110. Never was in situation that the 110 couldn't handle from rural to urban.

Ditto. Even the 112 is a bit thick for my tastes (or maybe I need to slim down so my jeans aren't so tight!)

Out in the woods or even on the back yard, either is fine in a sheath.

A 500 should be arriving soon and I put the 55 on my birthday wish list (next month.)

The 110 is not too big for EDC for me (though I live in the exurbs) as long as I use a horizontal carry. I've rigged the original sheath for this and have another dual vert/horiz sheath from L.L. Bean. If I can't carry the 110 horizontally, I carry the 112 (which I would also like to carry horizontally, but haven't yet ordered the sheath the will do that for me.

Zieg

Buck 500 is my Goldilocks size for EDC.

I can't cope with crap on my belt. The 110 and 112 are too thick for pocket carry.

Happily, I prefer the drop point of the 500 over the 110 and 112 for just about everything.

'Course, people have different lives, different days, different days, different knives.

Same here, I'm a drop-point guy. Can't wait for my 500 to arrive.

Belt-carry doesn't bother me but would surely freak-out the other residents of Cubeville:-)
