Anybody have a custom or not normal Rodent-6 or Rodent-7 ?? Post pics?

I've been thinking about ordering a Rodent-6 and/or a Rodent-7, but I was thinking about getting one from the custom shop. I've seen other current swamp rats that were custom or with different blade/handle colors but not those 2.

I'm interested in the not normal black-on-black color scheme, customs that are different than normal, satin, camo, G10 handles, whatever---pretty much anything...I know I'd like to at least get a different color scheme, different blade color and multi-color G10.

Anyway, will someone show me theirs if they have them? And are these possible for me to just call in and ask for?

If you look around in the pic threads, Elof_Alv has a really cracking R6 without the top guard and with a drop point.

That knife alone brought me a renewed love for drop points.

R6 , Blue and black g-10...top guard removed, satin finish,yellow spacers...delicious!

you cannot just call and order.you have to email what you want and wait.Takes awhile, but well worth it!

The Rodent 6 is a great size its pretty good chopper too....bullet proof.:cool:
 
No R7, the handle does not work for my hands, but my R6 is a little bit different...



 
Good looking Blade Profile....I've always liked drop points...:thumbup:
 
Great pictures everyone! :thumbup: Eric, the Rodent 6 with the top guard ground off does look a lot like a "giant rmd". I never noticed that before. Keep the pictures coming!
 
Thanks guys, yea I was mainly interested in seeing what the overall pattern for G10 would look like on an R6.
I happen to like the double guard of the R6, though.

And I have no idea how I missed the Swamp Rat forum. I guess I got tunnel vision on the Busse forum. I check it religiously, but not much of anything else.

That is awesome Bleedingfinger. There is a custom R9 on the auction site that shall not be named. Just look up swamp rat custom rodent 9. I know it's not a 7 but gives you an idea.
 
Thanks guys and yes it is just like a giant rmd.in fact I was originally going to buy the rmd but after consulting on the forums about the fact I'm a giant... I was shown this mod on the r6

Daaaaaaang I love that modified blade shape! Im assuming its from the custom shop yes? May I ask how much it ran you? Its a lot more attractive with the modified blade IMO.
 
Red/black G10. The top picture has some shadows on it from leaves, so it shows more variations in color.

EH, You'll need to contact Custom Shop. I've had it for a long while now, and prices recently went up, so no idea how much it will be now.
