anybody purchased from pete228

Wondering the same thing. Joined a month ago and has posted a lot of nice blades for sale, but no feedback yet. Would sure like a couple of those Microtech's autos!
 
Hi. I'm Pete, I, have recieved money for 7 knives so far and have shipped all, I have been asking people to post feedback when they receive them, thats about all I, can do. So far 3 have gotten their knives and 3 have posted. I, try and describe everything accurately and answer all questions. So far I, have been able to ship knives the same day i receive the mo. But it is definitely a leap of faith to send a Postal money order to someone you don't know, for something you don't have yet. I'm a furniture maker by trade so the internet is not my thing and won't be doing paypal. If you guys and girls have any questions I, can help with just email me I, answer all questions. Thanks
 
I think the no paypal decision may cost you some sales. I never buy knives with anything other than paypal because I've heard of people getting ripped off and for the same reason I rarely do trades unless it's a well known member. I'm not trying to insult you in any way, shape or form but if you can make a blade forums account you can easily make a paypal account.
 
I recently bought a knife from pete228 and everything went just fine. He emailed back quickly and sent plenty of pics for me. Overall it was a fine deal. I sent the MO on a tuesday and had the knife by saturday, not bad, Joe

For you who are still wondering about Pete. I purchased from him Sat., sent
the MO Sat. & today he sent me a photo of the USPS del. conf. If the box
arrives empty, which I doubt, I'll let you know.
 
With that many Microtechs, I'd assuming Pete either works for or knows someone at Microtech... ?

Just my two cents, Pete I'd be interested in a lot of stuff you sell if you'd take paypal, It affords a lot of buyer protection, and for a new member I'd be a lot more inclined to business with someone who can accept paypal's terms and conditions ;)
 
Thanks RRG for the nice words. Boy I, hope that package doesn't arrive empty, that was a good deal. I, stay awake nites worry about every package I, send out until it gets there. This internet it is not my thing. I, work with my hands. Frisky I, don't know anyone, or ever worked at Microtech. I bought these knives 7 to 11 years ago [which you can tell from the dates on the knives]. Sorry but I'm not going to be taken paypal, just US postal money orders, this is what works for me. I, don't see the sense to set up a paypal account to sell my knives, because when I'm done selling the ones I, want to get rid of ,I'm done. I won't be opening a knife business or buying more knives to sell. Thanks to everyone that has received a knife from me so far and was happy with the transaction.
 
i just posted some feedback for him. i have bought 2 knives from him and could not ask for a better guy to deal with!
