Anybody worried about Y2K?

I'm not worried about Y2K here in the USA.

One note though, my cousin pointed something out to me. While 2000 is a problem for older computer programs, etc., 2000 could technically be the end of the millenium. Then 2001 is the beginning of next millenium. Which means marketing folks can still work some deals.

However, I hope the idea doesn't catch on so I can get a good deal on freeze dried foods for hiking/camping trips.

Well, the new millenium does not start until 2001. I think "Rooms to Go" (some furniture store) is the only advertiser who actually grasps this. Either that, or the other ones are going to use this ploy twice.
