Anyone always have a knife in their car/truck?

Yes..... Cold Steel copy of a Randall (got it free) and a Gerber "Paraframe" (should have been free) are always in a last ditch box in back. Also keep and Ontario RAT5 and Fiskars axe accessible as they are my round camp tools. Will leave the RAT5 home when I pack for a longer trip or hunting as I have multiple Busse/Swamp Rat or ESEEs that will get packed with my hunting bag. I am reluctant to leave a high dollar or favourite blade in the car in the event of a break in.

Keep this chunk of 3v in the cubby behind the back seat. Wasn't using it for anything else and seemed like a good idea to have along in case of ?

Always did....until the 16 year old started taking my car to school. She came in with 3 folders, upset, saying her school could give her trouble for having them, unfortunately she's right. So now zero dedicated car knives. 🤢

I keep a pliers-based multi tool in each car’s glove box.

In my daily driver, I also keep a Vic Classic on this little tray behind the shifter in case I need any of those tools. (I use the toothpick frequently)

Nothing big and choppy like that though.

Several, I keep a SS Mora Companion in the pocket in the drivers side door, in the console is a folder, and a multitool, and of course what is always in my pocket which is usually a couple of more.
I truly feel like it is overkill, but can't say I want to eliminate any of them.

My SP5 lives in the car. I’ve used it to clear branches and other obstructions in the roadway, hacked vines that had overgrown a parking spot I wanted to use, and used it for many other tasks, when I needed a big knife and the car happened to be nearby.
