Anyone always have a knife in their car/truck?

No. I’m worried they’ll just get stolen. Or about the inevitable question about weapons in the vehicle if I get pulled over. Or if I get randomly searched going onto a base for work.
 
I have knife & window breaker/seat belt cutter in all 5 of the vehicles that I own/lease.
 
Got a Spyderco Pacific Salt with the serrated edge in there.
Also have an Estwing hatchet under the driver's seat (no trunk), but that's probably more info than you wanted.
 
Thanks to a fellow member here, I have added a fixed blade to each vehicles loadout. This is the way
 
My truck is full of tools, so I have utility knives, a machete, a Mora, a Buck 110lt and a few beaters. I keep a trapper in the console because it's handier than digging in my pocket while seated.
