Anyone always have a knife in their car/truck?

At least 2 for the truck. Fixed blades. Always One clipped to a backpack behind the seat, one permanently resides in the “cubbyhole” on the right side of the steering wheel within easy reach and at times one in my toolbox.
One always strapped on the four wheeler and one on the headache rack of my side by side.

No car or truck. How about motorcycles .

For the past 37 years motorcycles have been my only chosen form of personal transportation. And during most of that time I have kept some form of fixed-blade attached to my bike where I could grab it at a split-seconds notice while sitting on the bike.

San Diego has always had it's share of deranged/drugged-out street people, now more than ever, and a handful of times over the decades I've been confronted by one of them while sitting in traffic. By "confronted" I mean they were ranting and raving at me, making threats, and stepped off the sidewalk and walked up to me. Unlike sitting in a car, where you're surrounded by car, on a bike you're completely exposed and vulnerable. So for that reason I like to have a few weapons handy in case of unfriendly "close encounters". Fortunately I've never had to actually use any of them, but I've had occasion to pull them in preparation of use.

Technically speaking, I have a sheath attached to each of my bikes, and I transfer the knife back and forth depending on which one I'm riding.

For several years now it's been one of my "hybrid" boot knives (a knife made from parts of different knives). This one has a United Cutlery blade, and the handle from a V-Tech Recon Bowie. The original handle for the boot knife was too small for my liking, I needed something I could grip better with riding gloves on.

You can see the knife handle sticking up in the center of the first pic. The hook I hang my helmet on is above and to the right, so when I'm off the bike and I hang/lock my helmet, the helmet covers the knife so no one can see it.

Have a small backpack/go bag that has a lot of items stored inside that resides in my vehicle, also a couple knives, one Mora and this Off Grid rugged fixed blade;

I like that knife.
I've been eyeballing it for awhile.
Couldn't convince myself that the quality was there, but hey, if G2's carrying it it must be a decent knife.👍

Thanks for enabling Gary, it's much appreciated, and really even sought after sometimes.
😉

I carry a Buck 685.
Stainless and 420hc with a rubber handle so it can bounce around and survive.

There's others, this one lives in the door.

Thanks.✌️

Yes, I carry the backpack in the photo in my vehicle, along with a first aid kit, tourniquet, flashlight, and the kit in the photo. This makes it easy to quickly switch to another vehicle.

I'm digging that wrench prybar, who makes that?

Last year, I had to clean out my truck before I had an epic repair done. (Engine Replacement) A lot of gear in it.

Now, I only have Leatherman in it. I want to get a fixie to put in the survival pack, but haven't decided which one to include in it.

A long list of candidates...

Right after I bought my Light Blue Honda Ridgeline I drove down to Eugene, OR for the Oregon Knife Collector show. Walking the aisles looking for a treasure to bring home, I spotted a Light Blue scaled SAK Camper, picked it up and on the other side was "Honda". Must have been a give away promotional knife. Seemed like a good omen to me, and it was mine, basically unused for $5. It and a Multi Tool have been in the Ridgeline ever since. John

It's nothing fancy.I bought it from the hardware store for $6. Two years ago I think. You can definitely find it on the internet. If you want, I can check if there is a brand etc. on it.

Edit:I quickly looked online for you. Stanley and craftsman sell the same product. I think they are all exactly the same, they buy them from China as OEM and make their own brands. I think the one I had was also a British brand.

Don't trouble yourself, I'll do some digging, thanks for the reply!

Typically too many to keep track of. When I lived in Florida and my daily driver was a truck, I saw no need to keep the majority of my manchettes/choppers/hatchets/etc. elsewhere, so that I would always have them when I needed them. Plus I have always kept at least a BK9, Victorinox rescue tool, I forget the name but that big pry bar looking one in the OP, a few BM seatbelt cutters stashed strategically, and various others in every car.
