Anyone anticipating a non-LE SAR-4?

you might be able to send it to the custom shop and have them grind them out. it may just be a matter of doing the nuclear meldown farther along the spine, and if not, you could try a sfno style finger indent.

Not so sure of that. Perish the thought I disagree with another honorable gentleman from the fair Commonwealth of Massachusetts. LOL

I didn't see the Scrapyard pix. They were gone by the time I got the warning here on BF about it. I was pretty sure the S5 was a mudder-handled baby all the way. Whether it will be INFI or not is to be determined at a later date.

I DID see the open, non-blocked Boss pic of the black G10 handle. Stupid me I didn't save it, assuming he was just making us "search" for the pix. It was a thing of beauty. I'll keep hoping for it. I grabbed an LE anyhoo. Esp. if the CG's turn out to be flat-ground or something else to make them different.
 
I want the Sar-4 in a Combat grade user to the max coated with some black G10!!!! I would take one of those in a second!! The LE is just to damn collectable for me to beat up and at four hundred there are a few other knives that I would rather have in that price range...... I will have to wait it out!
 
That would be great. I don't have the $$ for one right now but I think it looks like it could be perfect for the size. Especially DC (I think this finish has become my favorite).

"Variants" run a lot less than full on customs at $100/inch, but unless you're a servicemember or other public servant your work may go to the end of a waiting list. Your best bet will be to call the shop and see what they have to tell you directly rather than take our speculation as truth.
 
Another vote for a CG model.

But even if there was, I wonder what the price will be...
