Anyone carry those 1$ Lock backs from WalMart?

Personally I'd like to see how this knife stacks up to a Sebenza...

funnily enough you could equip a small village with those cheap folding knives or one man with a single exquisite folding knife for the same cost!

Someone please do a comparison! haha :D

I picked one up last weekend fully expecting it to fall apart or have something wrong with it... I've been carrying it and using it the past few.days and have been pleasantly surprised. I've read all the opinions and horror stories about this cheap knife, but maybe I got a decent one.. no issues at all. I sharpen it and it's been great. It won't replace my regular edc, but I think it's one heck of a deal for a $1.

Whats funny is I was walking thru Helping Hands Thrift Store as I like to look for cheap cuff links and jewelery and there under the glass in the cuff link area was one of these knives for $4. My jaw droped. It had pant and was beat to death. I could not believe that it was being sold for 4 times the asking price at Wal-Mart.

I took it to the manager of the store and told him how I felt he was just a little out of control on his prices lately. I called a few of his employees retards seeing how they did not know how to price most anything in the store. I guess he did not care for how I made my complaint so he told me I did not need to shop there any more. I told him thank goodness. If you charge 4 bucks for a $1 knife I dont feel I really want to come in there any more.

Two weeks later I went back in there just because thats how I am and low and behold the knife was stilll there but at the amazing low price of only $2. Twice the price Wal-Mart was asking for it. I guess my talked helped a little but not enough to match Wal-Mart prices.

And theirs did not even come with a waranty.

Thanks for posting the pic. These look a whole lot better than what we get over here for £1! :D

:D :D :D Brilliant! One of the funniest posts I've ever read on Bladeforums. You are a master of satire sir!

I know it was not nice of me but my goodness $4 for a $1 knife.

I do need to go back and appoligize to anybody who may of heard me.

As crummy as it is, it's still a whole lot of knife for $1. They probably thought/think it cost $10 or so.

Didn't mean to crash the point of your post. Just kinda shocked by the mental picture you painted, and that someone would think it cool.
