Anyone carrying a long-discontinued knife?

My only EDC folder is one that I do not hear about much - Benchmade 720 Mel Pardue with black aluminum grip. After I bought that, I just didn't feel that I needed another similar knife.

As I don't buy too many new knives these days, I have a few that, unfortunately, got discontinued. These are part of my EDC rotation.

Microtech LCC D/A Gen II
Camillus Cuda Maxx 5.5 Bowie
Camillus Cuda Dominator Clip blade (carrying today 3-9-11)
Benchmade 730CFHS Why, oh why did they discontinue this one?
A. G. Russell Gent's linerlock with Burl-wood handles, and titanium bolsters
A. G. Russell small Damascus lockback with burl-wood and Nickel silver
Spyderco Mini-Ti Police on a silver chain.

DD

Since originally posting, I'll add a Kershaw Offset with Splash Aluminum handles, Kershaw Junkyard Dog 2 Ti SG2, Kershaw Blue Bump and Kershaw Titanium Tyrade. All newly discontinued, though...

I used to carry a Vic SAK that I've never been able to identify. Has the saw and scissors as well as large and small blades, reamer/awl (whatever it is), can opener, bottle opener and corkscrew but no slots for toothpick and tweezers.

I do sometimes carry a CRKT Carson F4 that hasn't been as long out of production as some of the other knives in this thread, but it does seem like CRKT discontinued it 5 minutes after I bought mine a couple of years back.

I guess the oldest knife I still use occasionally is my Buck 560C I think it. The titanium handled lockback in 420HC. It's a bit pampered though.

Still carry my Dodo often, a knife that should met its end too early.

I rotate carry my EDI Gen I, Benchmade Sentinel, Benchmade Emerson CQC7, Camillus Cuda Max, and Robo Dominator, Microtech LCC S/A Gen I, Benchmase 850.

I just got one. It is a superb knife, that must have been overlooked by many people.

A lot of the knives I carry are discontinued or were limited editions;
Small Regular Seb
Benchmade 705, 705-401, TSEK, Ares, 710HS, 720, AFCK, M2 Ritter Grips.
Spyderco Delica and Endura 3, Calypso Jr.

My Tekna Dive knife as a boot knife which I bought in 1987. The plastic sheath is still tight, as is the original velcro spring-buckle strap. The blade is as sharp and tough as it was when I bought it - I've only sharpened it maybe 3 times since then. Even though it is strapped on my boot every day I'm in uniform, it is not the first knife I grab when I have a mundane cutting chore. I consider it my "combat" knife since it has dual edges. It has been on my boot for every depoyment I've been on, from Operation Just Cause, thru Desert Shield/Storm, Northern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, and now it sits there for Enduring Freedom. It's been a good investment.
I don't know if the latest version is being made with the same materials/processes, but:

Every once in a while I carry my spyderco blackhawk at work to open boxes things like that
I never really put ut through any hard use

all of my EDCs are quite rare. from titanium bumps to titanium tyrades to offsets to MUDDs and Dodos. The only thing I carry that isn't rare is my new blue ripple and 0400.

i dont know about "long" discontinued but lately i have been carrying a ZT 0350CB (900 piece LE) and a small regular sebenza.

i've been carrying a Cold Steel Twistmaster for a few months now. it's the one that resembles an Opinel, with a clip point. it replaced my Kershaw Leek as my utility EDC.

i also carry a Benchmade 42, but i don't use it for much besides flipping.

Often carry a Leatherman Juice KF4 or the old Wave, both discontinued.

Hate for anything to happen to them though, both great multi-tools

I had a buck croslock from 1995. Sent it back to buck for warranty and they sent me a POS odyysey. Its been a couple years but i should have sent the oddysey back and request they send my old knife back to me. Opening on croslock was very smooth with teflon washer and was very sharp. ODDY cant even cut paper smoothly out of box. Got hung up on paper.
