I've searched the forum, and can't find any info on them. Anyone dealt with them before? Good or Bad?

Thanks!

I have actually placed a few orders with them, they have a huge selection of knives which worked out really well for me. I bought one for myself and one for my dad and my brother, and then bought cases to carry them in.

I had a good experience, the stuff I was looking for was easy to find and shipped in nice packaging. I had no issues. I emailed customer service about tracking information and I had a response within the day.

I would recommend them, my brother placed an order after I did and he was happy too.

Hello Vanessa Hoffman, who happens to work for OutdoorPros.com. I appreciate you signing up here at Bladeforums.com, and making your first post about a company you work for!

Perhaps you should have read the Mantis thread before you dedided to shill me with your  and glowing review!

I'll take my business elsewhere now thank you!

Hold on a minute SPXTrader....

as you know before I became involved in the Insurance business I did a small stint as a freelance " Cleaner" after our elite Dark Ops Division of the State Department Consular Operations Division was scrubbed due to some political back stabbing at REMF levels much higher than my pay grade....

anyway..so one day I found myself crashed out on the beaches of Huntington California. I had money and time on my hands and was not sure what to do with myself. I was just chilling, soaking up the sun, smoking Camel filter less ciggys and pouring my travel bottles of Jose Cuervo into my Diet Pepsi from the concession stand and just sort of enjoying life. Thats when I noticed that in the parking lot of the park something was amiss. I cannot really say that visually there was something wrong. But after countless missions and hundreds of tactical situations I had more of a feeling. There was this young lady standing in front of a Beamer with Dubs on it...looking rather uncomfortable. So I stood up stretched, yawned, dumped my cigarette and walked over.

"Hi maam" I said
" Hi " the young lady said..."can I help you?"
" The question is maam Can I help you?" Whats your name?
"Vanessa" she said..." And I don't need any help so why don't you just go away"

at that moment busting out of the back of a small surf shop came this big Neanderthal looking goon...he fixed his eyes on me and I instantly knew the look.

Loser, bad temper, Tweaker, Pimp, and he needs a broken face.

Ape mans eyes squinted in rage as he saw me talking to his girl and he stomped over hands already balled into fists...this of course put me on high alert. when Vanessa saw ape man coming over she Immediately turned toward him and said..."Its nothing Jimmy he was just looking for directions"

" Is that so Punk" he snarled " Where do you need directions too?" Now I just leveled a bored stare at this guy and smiled with a mirthless grin...

" I need directions to the zoo you ape...I think its past your feeding time and this young lady here is out of Bananas"

Of course Ape man did not like this one bit and stepped forward menacingly. I was of course completely bored with this already and having decided that Vanessa was not my type anyway I feinted right and swung my Outdoor pro.com Man bag to the left at Ape Mans Head.

Now I should tell you that In the state of Kalifornia CCW and any sort of edged weapon is almost forbidden but with my level of skills and training I could kill most people with as little as a Q-tip. But of course in California there is nothing wrong with carrying a Big brick in your bag and this is what connected upside Ape mans Temple. He went down like a sack of bricks no pun intended. As a side note I should also say the wuss peed his pants while unconscious.

I smiled and gave Vanessa my Outdoor Pro.com Bag after I took my change of cloths and my brick out of it..so she could use it to pack a few things and get out of town before meat head woke up....

I never suspected she would go to work for Outdoorpro.com...but thats how good their stuff is I guess...:D

Do they think we don't check things out on our own as well? They think we're 9 kinds of stupid when in actuality it's them.

I just got an email complaining about Ren's post from a "third party"
I would like to report a user's post that uses threatening and vulgar language by Ren the Devil's Trailboss: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5828293&posted=1#post5828293.

Spcifically in his paragraph that discribes "Now I should tell you that In the state of Kalifornia CCW and any sort of edged weapon is almost forbidden but with my level of skills and training I could kill most people with as little as a Q-tip. Of course, their email address had PlumberSurplus.com in it, which happens to link to OutdoorPros.com at the bottom of their page. Shocking.

I informed them that spamming and shilling aren't allowed on the site either.

You rock, Spark!

Looks like someone edited their post...but alas, it had been quoted for posterity! :D

And I really thought they would have given Ren a free knife for that great story!

Great response Spark.

The forums have had several kinds of stupid in the last few months, first those cold steel nuts, then Mantits, and now these guys.

FWIW,A few months ago when the BM930 was a hot item & couldn't be found in stock,Outdoor Pros claimed to have it in stock.I purchased it,only to find out shortly afterwards, they didn't have it in stock.I canceled my order & was refunded(after 7days:rolleyes:)
I wouldn't recommend them:thumbdn:

Vulgar and threatening? HAHA....if they think that is vulgar...they should meet me in person....That made my whole (hole?) day!!!!!!

Besides...I am not responsible for my alter ego...he comes and goes as he chooses...from various dark ops missions...or whenever the medication levels fluctuate...

Yet another company on the "Do Not Buy" list. Luckily there are plenty of good ones still out there!
