Anyone drinking??

YES!!!

I was going to start one of these.

After a long ride I put a Pilsner Urquell on ice and just opened it:thumbup:

I haven't had a drink since my first little one was born. My time is comming very soon. Maybe take the wifey on a wine tasting trip.

I never though this would happen.

Do you guys think the ice you use makes a difference?

I never did... BUT…the other day I bought a bottle of white wine to being to this girl’s house and I bought a bag of ice because it wasn’t cold. It was made with some fancy water and cost me something like 6 bucks.

So I have been using it in my Scotch (yes I use a little bit of ice) and dam it taste better that regular ice.

I swear:thumbup
:

I don't have kids but I thought that usually the woman does that:confused:  Or is that weed they don't do:confused:

:p :p

I believe you. There's such a thing as stale ice. I try to cleanout my ice dispenser every so often. Or your water could just be crappy.

You ever ride to the Pulgas Water Temple, Tony? That was one of my favorite places to ride on a nice day. You could look down and see the water coming in from hetch hetchy but they renovated it. Our drinking water no longer flows through the water temple  .

Ice can easily absorb scents and flavors of your freezer.

I usually use filtered water for my whiskey ice, and I make sure it's pretty fresh.

I also crack it before it goes into the tumbler. More surface area = faster cooling.

Oh, and don't you know you should always show up to a girl's house with a BOX of wine? :D

Only drink coffee when I have a long drive at night. For some reason those on-coming headlights just put me to sleep.

Mesmerising, aren't they? Now where exactly do you normally drive? At approximately what times?

I'd like to put some red X's on my road atlas. :D

Coffee in the morning, water during the day, wine and after dinner drinks thats the time to kick back & relax. However, if its fishing then its a cooler of beer on ice in the boat and fishing till its gone. Maybe tommorow, when the work is out of the way.

Doesnt happen often now. It was just when I lived in San Diego and came up for visits with the family in NorCal. Everyones safe FOR NOW

My parents have a dedicated ice machine for just this reason. Not only that, but rather than shut off when full, it removes the ice from the bottom to prevent it from becoming stale. It is always hard to go back to my rather pedestrian ice after visiting.
