Anyone else addicted to the axis lock?

I have a couple of axis locks and I like them the best but not that much better than other lock types such as liner, frame and compression locks.

The axis is the easiest and quickest to disengage and not run the risk of nicking your thumb occasionally.

I don't worry about lock type when I consider a knife except that I rarely buy a lockback.

Fell in love with them even before they were available for sale. Played with a prototype at a show in Anaheim years ago and bought the Mel Pardue 722S first production when it was released.
Being left-handed, it's the perfect ambidextrous lock for me. The fact you control opening AND closing one-handed without ever changing your grip made it my favorite design. No fingers in the blade path, flips open and shut faster than an auto. When Spyderco adapted it in their caged and uncaged ball lock versions, it created more options for my wish list.
