Anyone else not care if they come out with a folder?

I wish they'd just do it.
I'd take a Frame lock, or lockback with either Ti Slabs with Micarta overlays/inlays whatever :)

Jerry - I promise we'll play nice and leave the abusse to the fixed blades, well most of it any way :D

yep - abusse was spleeled that way on purpose :p
I always spleell spell like that too.
Did I mention I got some infi in my blood stream somehow off that BATAC?

I'll shut up now.

That was an interesting one. I never saw a coated blade AD that was .15.

I have come around to thinking the .17 flat grind AD as the best grind. Stronger tip, stronger all around and maybe even better geometry than the saber .15. The BADs are nice too if you are not goint to use the tip hard. The only problem with the .17 flat grind is that I think all -so far- are customs.

I never saw a .15 coated blade AD either. Pretty scales though.

A well made folder will be with you forever.

The best folders short of going high end custom are either a Sebbie or Strider SMF. It would be very hard to top either of these two.

With what I've seen of these smaller thinner INFI blades I would love to own a Busse folder just not pay for one. The ADs, BADs, GWs and LrMrs take a hell of an edge and come back to shaving sharp with less effort that a lot of modern knife steels. D2, S30V, ZDP189... man! if you let those get too dull you have some work on your hands, usually, to get the edge back but I've found INFI is just stupid easy to maintain. If the folder talks to me when Jerry brings it out I probably won't be able to resist so I'll just wait and see.

:D:D The 'really' wasn't intended to be a ?, but rather, in agreement with you.;) I wouldn't put out that kind of $$$$ if it came in orange and blue and did the "Go Gators" chant (complete with trumpets), everytime it was opened.:eek::D

For sure, it would be too expensive to actually carry. From the looks I get when asked about the price, apparantly the Sebenza is also. LOL Seems like everyone up here has a folder clipped on, even the girls! But, it seems, no one is willing to spend over $12.:D

The AD and GW are seeing plenty of use being so handy, especially in the kitchen but, the AD sees belt time also. No sheath for the GW, yet.

What about building an all INFI folder, slabs and blade ?
Works for me !
Would anyone else buy an all INFI folder ?
Hell, I think it would look cool.
Jerry could do the blade in satin and the slabs in double cut !
Just make sure it has a massive pivot and it's good to go ! :)

I'd buy a framelock Busse, even though I have a few other high end folders!

All InFi folder?....Hell no! Just too damn Heavy..."Heavy" could probably pull one off though! :D:D

It wouldn't be too bad if the slabs and blade were no more than 3/16" :)
I don't think Heavy would mind "heavy" though. ;)

Only if it had a straight hadle(such as sebenza, strider, etc...) would I care.

Then I would have buy one though...and this new laptop just broke me for a while

He, what's this talk about not wanting a Folder??

Think about the poor people living in places where fixed blades are illegal?

INFI FOLDER!

Oh... but there's also places where locking folders are illegal...

INFI SLIPJOINT!!

Kind regards,

Jos

yeah...that's what we all tell ourselves..you may find yourself donating (ie $$$$) blood and eating top ramen to come up with scratch!:thumbup::D :p

Trouble is, I don't carry slipjoints due to a couple of mishaps with them (ones that left scars!)

In the UK, locking folders (and non-locking with a blade of 3.5" or more) and fixed blades are all considered offensive weapons unless you *need* to carry one for an *immediate* use in your trade or hobby. Just carrying one in the woods 'in case I need it' would get you arrested and charged here. Wonderfully enlightened government we have, and a load of sheeple.

So, I might as well carry a fixed blade and take what comes. I probably wouldn't buy a Busse folder as I only carry a couple of cheap(ish) lock blades in my toolkit, which might easily get stolen.

If I could legally carry a locking blade all the time - I just might buy a Busse one, but I can't.
