Anyone else obsessed with Ghost Jade Green G10?

I like it as well.

I thought G10 was layered fiberglass or glass cloth in epoxy resin. I was assuming the natural G10 used the epoxy resin, but used layers of some natural material instead of fiberglass. Is that correct?

Hi Soje, G10 is indeed fiberglass sheets infused with an epoxy resin. It is typically died with color such as black, green, blue, etc. The “natural color G10” is just the undied fiberglass and resin that is being discussed in this thread. Micarta and Carbon Fiber are a similar process but use different materials. Micarta can use paper, canvas, burlap, etc. where as carbon fiber uses woven carbon fiber sheets or shredded carbon fiber. G10, micarta, and carbon fiber use the epoxy resin to bind the material together.

I was. Am? I mean, I think Andy Roy does if best on a few of his Fiddlebacks! He puts that lime liner under it an it completly changes it to an awesome ghost green. I wish a few g10 manufacturers would make some with built in lime on the backside just so the effect would be there on folders for instance where liners aren't as practical.

Some of the Ghostjade has a greenish tint to it which is nice. I'm not as crazy about washed out white "clear" g10 ghost jade anymore.
