Anyone Else Stash Knives?

I have plenty of pocket knives. Way more than plenty. Enough to leave some here and there, close to where I tend to use them, or as spares in case I forget to carry one.

I don't so much view these as "stashed" but more strategically forward deployed.
Yup, not stashed. Placed where you might find it handy. I'll venture a guess, no one here has a fixed blade stashed under their car by the self-destruct switch like Mad Max, and probably very few are going to depend on a blade as primary home defense tool bringing a knife to a gun fight. Most people cut tape.

Cold Steel

Made from Griv-Ex - the latest in fiberglass reinforced plastic - Cold Steel's FGX Nightshade series knives are UV and heat stabilized to make them incredibly durable. The handles of these unusual knives are made from deeply checkered Kray-Ex that’s molded directly onto the blade tangs. This offers a slightly tacky-feeling textured surface that will give you a decisive and secure grip whatever the weather.

Cold Steel's FGX Nightshade blades are unaffected by moisture. They never rust, warp, crack or split even in the most challenging environments. They are light enough to be tied, tucked, or taped just about anywhere, and, since they are unaffected by all but the most extreme heat and cold, they are a natural choice for concealed storage both inside and outside of your house - from hedges and flowerpots, to the refrigerator or the shower!
Damnit.. now I need a refrigerator knife..

😝

I sharpened my two larger folders last night, a Cold Stee Voyager an Endura Wharnecliffe. I switched out the Voyager for the Endura for edc purposes. I’d like to stow the Voyager in my laptop bag but in that location it wouldn’t be any different if I carried a 5” fixed blade or something. I mean why a folder when a fixed blade could be there. My desk knife and console knife are working out well though.

That would be crazy. On an unrelated note, has anyone seen the price of refills for nitrogen tanks...

You remember Mad Max right? When he was faster than the snake? Max had in ill-fitting leather sheath under the car next to his sketchy exposed toggle switch to blow the tanks? Yeah still better than most movies today though. I mean The Road Warrior... but Mad Max is good too.

I still remember a guy who had a knife strapped to his car like that in the late 80s, only his car was a Gremlin, so it was somewhat less cool.

I remember a guy who used to drive around in a Corolla with a fixie in a magnetic Kydex sheath in the visor before Kydex got real popular and Ruger P95 with 46 rounds in the trunk. What a dumb ass. But did he live? Yeah.

Stashed at my farm, all my trucks, my bugout bag, bugout containers, all over my garage, the kitchen magnet, and not to mention the several sportsman's trunks stacked up in the house.

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night because I have a dream I am missing one. I'll get out of bed and confirm it's still there.

It's ridiculous but is a thing I do.
