anyone ever buy a knife from e-knifestore?

Has anyone made a purchase from the above website? I'm thinking of ordering from them, but they don't have a phone number to "verify" listed on their website.

Just trying to be cautious.

Any satisfied customers by a recent transaction from this website e-store?

I placed an order with them over the weekend. Had a strange feeling while I was filling out the order forms. The pages were not even https encrypted. I was planning to pay with a virtual credit card number set with a very low amount, so I wasn't too worried. I planned to cancel the virtual number at the first sign of trouble.

After I submitted the order, I realized that at no point was I asked for my payment method. Strange. I got an automated confirmation email immediately after placing the order. The email showed a copy of what I ordered, and even showed no payment method. It stated order will ship in 2-3 days.

I emailed them last night about payment. Still have not received a reply from them. This is not looking good. If I don't hear anything by Wednesday, I'm going to cancel my order.

Absolutely, it is never worth the few bucks you might save buying from an unknown vendor. I would highly recommend only using the vendors that get consistent good reviews here.

Just an update. I've canceled my order. Still have not gotten any replies from e-knifestore.

I cannot recommend them to anyone.

I had dealings with that place. They do not stock any of the knives they say are there,
but instead order them after you place your request....
