anyone ever have a beard???

Okay, let me see if this works...

DAMN LINK DIDN'T WORK. Oh well, you'll all just have to suffer. :D

Me sailing on Pensacola Bay.

Normally its not quite THAT bushy, but pretty close. :D

Mine itches like crazy when I go to bed and lay my face on the pillow, other than that it doesn't really bother me too much.

Had a beard since I was around 20. It has been trimmed down to a goatee at times but is back to being full now.
If I go more than a month between baths  it will start to itch! :D
It's actually the beard that determinded my forum name, since my wife felt like "kissing a porcupine"! :grumpy:

I had to shave mine off for my job, and even when I was working plain clothes for awhile my girlfriend demanded that I be clean shaven. I did wear a beard, or at least a Van Dyke from the time I graduated high school until I started on the PD. Generally it didn't itch once it grew in unless I had been somewhat lax in hygene while camping or something. I discovered that a small amount of conditioner would soften it enough during the 2nd week or so that it was growing in and just starting to curl inwards to prevent the itch. Of course, now I shave my head about once a month. I'd probably let what hair I still have grow back in, but after about a month I just cant stand the itching. Go figure.

I've had a beard for, oh, I guess around 25 years. My wife has never seen me clean shaven. My beard only itches when I go awhile without washing (camping, etc.). Otherwise, no problem.

I have a goatee, have had for 4 years now. It gets itchy if it gets long but I keep it trimmed quite short with a Remmington beard trimmer and its ok. It sure beats the terrible dry skin and ingrowing whiskers I had before I grew it!

I've had a beard since 1987. I've always wanted one since I was a kid. Back then they were a no no at work so since I got bumps from shaving I went to a dematologist and got a doctors note to grow one. Now they are excepted at work. As others said they do itch while growing in. Mine also itches for a spell after the wife trims it. Here I am on the home page of my site with one back 1999. I still have it and will go to my grave with one. Never liked to shave.
