Anyone ever order from Botach Tactical?

Just got an email from Better Business Bureau from a complaint I filed with them about Botach Tactical regarding an order I made last April. Botach finally responds 7 months later... "This customer's order was cancelled per his request. No charge was ever issued to his account." They leave out that they were given my cc info and wouldn't respond to phone calls or emails regarding the status of my order over a 6 week period...:thumbdn: A big thumbs down with these guys, I recommend shopping elsewhere. At least I didn't lose any money over it. BBB give them a grade of "F".
 
2 orders of 123 batteries, no problems? prompt shipping / good service / great prices! maybe my luck will run out next time!;)

One of each.

1. Wanted a discontinued Princeton LED, and they had it at a great price. Delivered promptly.

2. Ordered some misc stuff. They charged my card immediately and delivered slow. I asked why slow, they said some items were back-ordered.

3. Ordered some misc. stuff. All was supposedly "in stock." They charged my card immediately and part of the order arrived somewhat late with no explanation about the missing except "BO." When I called a few days later, they had no idea when the items would arrive - none. I pointed out that they had assured me the items were in stock. That was a "mistake" or I had "misunderstood." Eventually, I told them to cancel the rest and credit my card. One additional unpleasant contact was required to get that done.

My view is that life has too many hassles to voluntarily assume more. But if you like risks, this IS the place for you -- and good luck mano.
 
I ordered a watch from them a few years ago. The price was good. The watch did come, but it looked as if someone had worn it a few times. I was not happy, but after customer service contact, I decided to keep what I had and move on, as the calls were becoming a big time waster.

Then, a funny thing happened. Just last week, I noticed that an employee was negotiating a very large purchase from them (exceeding $10,000 on the first order with others to come once this was sent to the field)....when I saw the botac.com on the guy's computer, I asked him if it was actually Botach. He told me yes and that he was having a very difficult time with the salesperson. I immediately put an end to the order with Botach. We were able to get the supplies from another vendor without any problems, actually at a better price. The new vendor was glad to have the order and really gave it that extra touch, which can make a transaction very pleasant/easy. We will continue to use this new vendor. To Botach.....Adios (next time deliver new watches and get employees who have some basic idea what they are selling).
