Anyone get a shipping confirmation from Knifeworks yet on their M390 806 AFCK?

Sounds like they have (almost) all of the coated ones shipped and they are shipping them same-day if you order one off their site.
I believe 86 of the satin model have been received/shipped. The serial numbers are random. I hope to get my satin soon!

Got 3 of my BK versions last week. Still waiting for my satin finish ones at this point. They're coming, slow but sure! They are really nice, and in my opinion, worth the wait for such a nice re-incarnation of a BM classic!

I got my satin one, which ordered before I even knew there was going to be a black one. I would rather have had the black version, and am currently fighting the urge to order one.

My satin one looks great. F & F are super and I really like the textured scales.

The F&F comments from you and others are encouraging. I have one on order but expect to be one of the later recipients due to when I ordered but I have been concerned about past F&F issues I've had with BM. Nice to hear! Satin for me BTW!

I placed my order in January and I still haven't got so much as an email. I did get a call from one of the girls in July, but that was the last I heard of it.

Yep, I have two each of the black and satin bladed versions (picked one up NIB on the Exchange last week in addition to the one I pre-ordered), and the F&F on all of them is superb. As an additional bonus, all four also easily surpass any other Benchmade I've every owned in terms of out of the box sharpness. Hopefully this is a sign that BM is listening to customer feedback/concerns about some of the F&F issues they've had in the past. :thumbup:

That's strange. Just give them a call when they reopen for business on Monday -- I've never had any trouble reaching them that way.

That is weird, I placed a pre-order for the BK one about a week before they came out, and already got one.

I just received my Satin and I am very impressed without using it yet. I was fully prepared to trade it off or sell it but I think she's a keeper. Very nice blade!

And it's huge. I find it funny that it doesn't really fit in the box they came in

F&F is outstanding
Edge grind is fantastic! Thin, even and SUPER sharp - this is the sharpest BM OOTB I have ever experienced
Handle comfort is outstanding
Lockup is solid even though I still consider Axis and Ball locks an open wound for lint to the guts
Love the blade profile on the AFCK too

Good job Knifeworks and BM on this one!
