nice very nice, what other models do these come in?
 
No cool knives for me---so after I take care of kids and family I steal off to buy a few gifts for myself---this year shopping cards and $189 got me a Sony digicam---then a few days later I gifted myself a little Bersa .380 Concealed Carry (CC)---my mom gave me a nice set of Cross pens.
 
I picked up a Rose Dorado 270 at the Bass pro shop in Garland,Texas
But I am slower that Christmas at posting pic's.

Jeff, just so ya know, she used to hang at the Waffle House down the road from that BP.

Glad you brought that up...In my youth, I used to really enjoy the pancakes at Georgian House Of Pancakes...They're gone now...but there is an International House Of Pancakes (IHOP!)...Are they the same franchise??? :confused:

I sure wish I had a platter of silver-dollar pancakes, maple syrup, and butter in front of me right now... :rolleyes:

Bad weather in La.

i don't know much about this knife but they said it was marked down
for Christmas. At the BPS IN garlond.

It does not say CPM154 on the blade.It doesn't
have any steel , stamped on the blade.
It says .BUCK 270 and a T laying on its side.
USA
That is all it has on it .
I think it is the rose Dorado.Sorry for the bad photo.

Ah.....That Rosy....Rosy Dorado....she's a pretty little one ;). Now you better treat her right.....or I'm gona sweet talk her away from yawl.

I had a unique 110 arrive today. It's a 2 dot blade, and the newer of the 2 styles of frames used in the 2 dot time frame. Buck used up their inlays that were already drilled for 2 pin frames, drilled 2 more pin holes, and used the inlays on the newer frames with 3 pin holes...resulting in 110s with 4 pins in the inlays, in addition to the rocker pin.

These unradiused frames with 2 dot blades have become my favorites from all the 110s. Full frame with Ebony inlays and a 440C blade.
 
...We gotta do some digging on those Scott...I have a 88 or 89 110 FG with those 4 ( four ) scale rivets stashed away somewhere...Looked for it the other day but I think it's packed away in a box somewhere from when I first moved down here...If I ever find it I'll post some pics too...Great looking knife Scott...:thumbup:
 
...Buck_110...Do you know when the finger grooves put into a knife?...Is it done in one of the the milling operations or is it done as an "as needed" feature on knives or bolster/liners after the knives or bolster/liners are already made up??...:confused: :confused:
 
...So that would apply to everything made from 1985 or so on when they switched to sintered metal frames???:confused:
