Anyone have 2 or more of the same knife?

Guilty here too....

Normally I have more than one of the good quality but less expensive knives -

Such as SAKs and Opinels.

I'm lucky that I liked the Victorinox Scientist and later the Yeoman enough that I got more than one of each.....

Now they are both discontinued (due to lack of popularity at the time)
and now have become somewhat rare and desirable, so go figure.

I have 3 KA-BAR USMC knives(one old two new black ones), 4 gerber multi tools, 2 leatherman super tools, 2 cold steel's, more old timers and buck knives than I can or want to go through now, and 5 throwing hawks all real close to the same. they are in diffrent kits, one at home one as a school/work bag ect..

I have a plain-edge Spyderco Rescue 93mm and a plain-edge Atlantic Salt (not the same but very similar), and I'm going to order another plain-edge Atlantic Salt (black handle this time).

It's rather difficult to find a good one-hander sheepsfoot folder, and this style has become my very favorite.

Allen.

As a matter of fact I've purchased sometimes 6 to 8 of the same model,if I really like the knife.Usually at least 2 or 3.

I have
2 California Knives Autos- {I've bought 5 this year, and kept 2}
2- Spyderco Howard Viele's
2- Cold Steel throwers with green para cord wrap
2- Gerber Bowies- one rubber handled, the other is wood handled, and numbered
2- SAK silver satin scaled money clip combos
I'll continue to buy doubles of knives I like because I sometimes lose things, and hate finding out later that they've been discontinued.I do the same thing with shoes.

Have two Spyderco R Plain blades because I like the feel and look of the knife so much, all the rest are singles

Of the Sebenza, I got three different sizes/shapes/polishes/handle materials, so that it's a little Sebbie collection.
Of the Chive, I usually have about half a dozen, again for all the differences in the Kershaw KO line-up, and to give away to whoever hasn't been converted to Onion knives among my family and friends.
What I could still imagine, is getting more Randalls.
But then, it's not so long ago that I felt it sort of unjust that other people should have several of the great classics, and poor little me, none :-)

best, t.

I have two of the discontinued Victorinox Manager original series, three Calypso Jr.'s (one original Micarta, one grey VG-10, one burgundy ZDP-189), and two Mnandi's (one african blackwood and one creme mammoth ivory, but I don't think they really count :D)
