Anyone have a BK4 Mach ax to let go?

I know they are hard to find, and people who have them normally don't get off of them. But I am on the hunt. Looking for a Becker Mach ax BK4 in any state of affairs...Ill even take a blank for the right price. :/

if you're SERIOUS about getting a machax, put a request in the wanted to buy section, or wanted to trade (off something tempting and GOOD)

heck, go Gold and support the forum too. you never know what you might find.

I didn't know that was a BK4 I know it as Machax. I almost bought one about 15- 20 years ago. I researched them and the Carbon V kukri . I even spoke to Ethan over the phone.
I guess my research was lacking because I got the Cold steel. It was a factory second and cheaper. If I could only go back in time. Thanks for the photo.

yeah, BK4 BK04 BK-04 model number designation... but we call it the Machax.

those older Carbon V khukri shape objects weren't bad either. whatever you like i guess :)

I've got 3 BK4's, or Machaxes.......... one is a Camillus, one is a Cincinnati, and.......... one is an old as hell........ walnut handled version with a leather sheath.

I am willing to part with them........... for the appropriate amount of Becker Brutes !!!

Ahhh, yes.......... that was the intended goal.

Now that he's been aroused, perhaps I can find some way to relieve him of a couple of his "unobtainium" possessions in compensation for a MUCH more rare and unique version of his "preferred poison" the walnut handled BK4.

My weakness for the BK1, is much the same as his for the BK4!

Unfortunately, I'm out on a job at the moment and it will be a couple of days before I can post pics!

Nah, not just yet.........got to give you time to stew. Soften up the old resolve and whittle down your resistance!

Start looking through your Becker pile and pick out your 2 least favorite brutes! :D

In reality, the problem is that the machax is at my house ........and I'm stuck away from home on this job!

i have no resolve. i threw it out years ago :) found it kept getting in the way. i'm a stew kinda guy. i love my stew. though a pressure cooker is the way to go. perhaps Sous-Vide? :) hear that's a great way to cook an egg.

only have one Camillus era Brute ;) you can look at that all you like in those pictures ;) the other thing that looks like a Brute is a ghost. a shadow. pretend it's not there.

just need to hold out a little while longer, and KaBar will do the same treatment on the BK4 as they did on the BK5. nice :) then a few of those will come to roost. always did like the Cincinnati Machax, and that's what they're basing it on. the Camillus Machax ... just a chunk of steel. needs reprofiling and work. the real prizes though are those hard chrome models. bwa hah hah. sexy.

so, send me some email with pictures. then you can stew too :

but since i heard my contract is both longer than i thought AND extended, i'll be buying some KaBar products soon enough. just have to think about it :> Tooooooooj models for sure. giant choppers :>

btw, you should consider that ring mod you do, but make handle inserts instead ! then you can make a mess of inserts, and use ANY Becker model without welding later. sweet.

don't screw with the mod ;)

also, OLD picture, i have nine-ish now.

they are quite sweet, and they're already willed elsewhere ;) i have no intention of getting rid of those.

remember, those are factory finishes ;) no stripping or mods. phosphate-bronzes, hard-chromes, epoxy powdercoats, and a really weird gold wash look. mmm.

Might as well start looking elsewhere!
