... absolutely without any artifice or subterfuge, if any of you hogs has an Ed Brown Lightweight Kobra Carry you would like to give away, I'm your man. I'd take one even without an ambi safety. Not that I deserve one. I would simply like to have it. :thumbup:

Would any one of you gracious benevolent gents be willing to part with a Rolex ? I prefer a stainless model . I dont need one as I have a few nice watches including the automatic Tag Aquaracer that I am wearing at this very moment. I served my country honorably in the U.S. military and just thought that maybe the warm fuzzy bunny rabbit that lives deep in the heart of all men would prevail on this day .The generous one may contact me for shipping info after 8 pm and if all possible I would like shipping to be next day air. I gave a Badger E away once to a friends son. He was just about to be deployed. I set a bunch of knives out and let him take his pick of what he wanted to carry while over in the sandbox.
I gave a Skeleton Key with a custom Buy Brown sheath to a woman that means the world to me and appreciates knives. She still enjoys it to this day.

Odd that I've given two away but never sold one.
I did receive a beat up/modified Meaner Street tossed in free when I bought another Busse off of a forum member.

A couple others I can't discuss because it's between me and the man who gifted them to me.

Why ask small?

...If anyone has an extra tricked out Citation Gulfstream G6 (Thx, budthachud! ;)) layin' around, may I have it? Not just it, but all the extras that go with it...pilot, fuel, maintenance plan, etc? I'll even use it to fly a bunch of HOGs to Atl. every year for the BLADE Show and any other show Busse attends!!! I don't really deserve my own private jet, but c'mon! Hook a brother HOG up...

AWESOME question!:D Honestly I don’t have any I’m willing to part with because I’m greedy which I’ve accepted, I’m like Smeagol with “the precious”. I do however know of a CGFBM gathering dust on a shelf in my ex-girlfriends closet.

I’m about 0-10 in the win/loss category in trying to retrieve it. This side of calling in SWAT or using a blowgun with a tranquilizing dart (just kidding)(well maybe)(ok kidding) all attempts have been unsuccessful. I even tried saying it with flowers, worst move I ever made!

If you can find a way to retrieve it then it’s all yours! I would try and warn you if you attempt this, but aren’t 5’1” angry surprises just the best?:D Anyway just throwing that out there, I don’t know if it’s “technically” free but the best I can do on such short notice!

Have you not learned anything in your time here yet? The way to get a free knife is to tell a tearful story of how you lost your very precious knife that you cannot live without and now you cannot afford to replace it. I have seen that angle work.

I am not saying all those stories have that as the intent, I am sure most are absolutely true and very sincere (I lost my daughter's knife when we were backpacking), and some very good and sincere people face such misfortunes and post about it just to share and vent without any expectations, but I speculate that there is the odd post that has some expectations attached.

One poster in another place cried that he lost a Sebenza in a trade (or deal, I can't remember) and had the gall to ask forum members for donations to buy a new one, despite the fact that he is constantly buying Sebenzas. It did not work for him but you can give that angle a try.

You can also criticize a brand, without appearing like a troll, and you might get a free knife to prove your criticisms unfounded.

But I am being too cynical, your angle might still work.

It takes all sorts I guess...

P.S. If any of you find a lost Loveless (small Benchmade Griptilian) somewhere on the Mineral King trail, please return it to me, or just send me any other valuable knife that you have so I can restore my daughters faith in me. :cool:

Wait, seriously? SERIOUSLY?? Does she know the knife is there? It might have moved, or been sold :(. If she doesn't know of it's existence, and you know she's too short and has no boyfriend tall enough to see it, where is this address? I've waded through almost every kind of psycho there is. Seriously, short of borderline girls, amnesiacs, and girls that seriously were trying to kill me, I've pretty much gone through the DSM!! Where is this? I'm most likely not near where she is, but could conceivably be on a trip by summer or fall... Seriously, who would connect a traveling stranger with a precise burglary of a precise room? It's ridiculous! And nothing she would know of would be gone...

She doesn't happen to live in a castle doctrine state, or own firearms, does she? Cuz while I'd do many things for a busse, getting shot... not so much. My medical insurance has a higher deductible than a busse :(

Having given away a few dozen Busse knives over the last 13 years, I would have to say that your chances would be better if, you did not yet have a Busse knife and better yet if I actually knew you and your situation.

I mostly give to Teeners and young adults with just a sprinkling of Busse's given to middle aged/aged or youths.

So Far, of my Eleven Grand Kids, only three have Busse knives, but I figure we will work something out.

Only a few receive more than one, but those for who do, the sky is the limit, so far.

The OP is obviously an idiot, we save, order and wait for our items. I could use a new "used" car but would I walk my bum ass to a dealer and say give me a car to prove you're not one of those "used car salesmen" they talk about? No way. Get a job and buy a Busse for yourself deadbeat. :rolleyes:
