Sent a (new to me) SNG in to them several weeks ago and have not heard a peep from them since then. Does anyone know their typical turnaround time for warranty work? I figured I'd have to be patient with it, but it's been over a month and I'm a little worried.

It seems to be wildly different depending on how busy they are at the time. I sent in one SnG and it took almost two months to get back. All they did was adjust the pivot to fix it.

The second one took only 2 weeks.

I have never been able to get anyone on the phone, I just sent it in with return shipping fees and a note.

Good luck neighbor(Lake Charles, LA), most people are well pleased with the service.
My experience was not pleasing, but I don't think that is often.

They are a small Co. and it takes time.
Again, good luck. Let us know!

Two to four weeks is the average, They just had a big show to go to in past few weeks. I can usually get someone on the phone Wednesdays for some reason.

Ok. Good to know it's not out of the ordinary at least. This is by far the most I've ever spent on a knife and it was difficult to part with it after having it only briefly :p

Sent in my SmF RW-1 and got it back in less than 3 weeks total turn around time including shipping both ways. :)

Sent in an SMF and DDC SnG together and Heather had them back to me in 8 days total turnaround.

Matador-

Good luck here. 2-3 weeks.
There were a couple shows and one this upcoming weekend.
Try giving them a call.

its always best to call 'em on the phone, i usually get someone 1st time.

its been a while since i used SKI CS, once it was really fast, like 7-10 days, once it was 2-3 weeks, never been anything bad though.

Since we are on the subject of Strider warranty, does anyone know if it will cover a broken tip? I've heard that they will cover just about anything but can anyone verify this?
