I have a full dlc leek and compared to the uncoated leek it’s not as slippery. Still not as good as g10.

I've had multiple mg's, with the KSF micarta, G10, the regular. I love the Ritter grip blade shape, but as a package it doesn't do it for me. I kinda feel the same way about the mg as I do the 940. On paper it's fantastic, when you first meet it, it's fantastic, and then you notice just some thing about it that I just don't like. Primarily none of the handles feel good to me. I tend to like flattish handles which is why the Leek is so appealing.Have you tried a mini Griptilian? It’s kind of a standard for most here so I would imagine so. I mean specifically an -1 model with 20CV and G10, though. It’s about the same size as a Leek, and I know I like flipping my mini Ritter just as much as I do my actually flippers, maybe even more. It’s absolutely the smoothest knife I own, bearings included. And while it’s not a Wharncliffe, the Sheepsfoot may appeal to you more than the Drop Point.
I have the stag handle version and it is an exceptional knife.Maserin starlight from collectorknives is pretty rad
Could take a look at the Benchmade Sequel. It is basically a MG with the handle on a diet (thinner).I've had multiple mg's, with the KSF micarta, G10, the regular.
