Anyone have the "perfect" wilderness/survival knife?

Although I have a ton of knives ,my pick is the Esee 4 . All the things I like in a bush knife.

Good weight and overall length
Carbon steel / flat grind.
4-5" blade length
Micarta handles
Good ergonomics for most all tasks
Kydex sheath
Lifetime warranty.

My main blade is the Esee 4 , although I usually bring others.

So far the best all around knife I've owned has been my Busse Combat Boss Street. It's just the right size to everything well. Extremely durable knife. You'd have to beat the crap out of it to make it lose its edge, and it sharpens back up real easy when it does. I have knives that do certain tasks better. But for all around... can't be without it... wouldn't know what to do if I lost it... The Boss Street has been my favorite so far.

Some pretty good ones have been already mentioned. My favorite so far is probably the Swamprat RMD and for extreme survival the battlerat.

I really like the RatManDu too. With the coating stripped and the point on the spine flattened out it would be just about perfection for a general purpose survival knife IMO.

Tough choice between my Bravo-1 and ESEE-4 ,until I can get ahold of a Delta Foxtrot that is.;-)

I have three knives that might fit the bill but with strengths and weaknesses of course. F1, Bravo1 and Recon Scout.

Of course if I was faced with survival in a jungle setting they'd all be next to useless. I'd love to see someone tracking through the dense undergrowth of Borneo with an F1! Even the recon scout would be useless, too much heft in a too little a package. You could build shelter but you'd have a hard time getting anywhere.

I am liking my new Busse Boss Street and my Busse Basic 11 a lot! I could probably survive in comfort with a SAK and the Basic 11.

Perfection I find elusive, but if I could have my "'druthers", I would suffer well enough with the duo below.

I think it should be the most useful wilderness/survival knife. Problem is there are so many variables/conditions that have to be considered. Trying to find the "one" seems to be a never ending task.

That thing is WAY too pretty to be taken out for survival use. A really nice looking knife you have there.

IMHO, with the awesome way Bark River backs their knives, no Bark River knife is not a user.
