My thinking is, the horizontal model would be excellent on a braided (550 cord) or web/nylon strap "Baldric" like you fellas posted about in the last couple of weeks.

The two Cyalume Lightstick holders could hold an Epi-Pen (My Son needs one) and one of them-there excellent Energizer Brand Penlights. Chemlights are a bit thinner than an Epi-Pen in its protective case, but the loops are elastic, it would fit well. Could put a penflare in there as well, are they still being made by anyone?

That's a cool little pouch, I don't own one however. I think I recall seeing a similarly sized pouch (and similar in style) at CTD for not much.

Those are nice. I think they would be great for the belt too.

Wheres the cheapest you can get one?

I don't know about using CTD when it comes to nylon gear, I've read some incredibly bad reviews of their nylon gear falling apart...

I don't know where we could obtain them at the cheapest price...

Ya know you might look at the maxpedition bottle carriers too. They would fill the role, and allow water carry too. A little cheaper too. 2 wolves carries them.

How do you all use your E&E pouches?

Are these used if you don't have a pack with you?

I generally stuff stuff into shirt pockets, or a briefcase, butt pack, or back pack. How is the E&E concept unique? (I guess I'm asking if this is something I need to consider more carefully.)

Rotte, I have a number of similar small pouches. I like to divide my gear up among them, medical, tools, emergency. That way, I take one or two pouches and can transfer them from a small bag to a larger one, or to a briefcase, or to a duffel bag, depending what I'm carrying. That way, I don't have to sort through a lot of individual items each time I go someplace different.

Of course I have a few basic items for the pockets -- wallet, watch, cellphone, knives, notepad & pen.

I don't have that pouch but I do own some gear from Tactical Tailor. Their quality is first rate and I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from them.

I have never been a fan of the monker combat admin pouch.

I like the E&E because it looks like its the perfect size to carry on my belt in the small of my back.

Esav is correct about SpecOps Brand Gear. I have both sizes of their cargo pocket organziers and they are top notch.

The TT E&E Pouch for the 6.5" x 3.5" x 1.5" size is a bit steep at just over $40.00, yet, for what I originally planned to use it for, I think it's really a great choice...placing on a Baldric. Plus, because it has all of the MOLLE-MALICE thing going on, it can go on Maxpedition-related gear and a host of other stuff, always a plus.

I don't really have use for an ID in there, or rifle dope or any other kind of dope or a blood chit, but a map will do! :D

I think anyone who believes as I do, that a bright, battery-power-sipping LED light is something you should have on you in the urban or wilderness environment, should consider that Energizer Penlight. They are simply awesome for $10.00! In this thing-a-ma-bob, you can have two of them with no problem or go the other way with Epi-Pen or perhaps one of the pre-blown 2-liter soda bottles in the other space loaded with #0000 Steel Wool, Cotton Balls and Char Cloth. I have been rigging those types of "bottles" up with snare wire as a "pull" to get at the tinder that I have packed in there, etc.

There looks to be enough room in that TT-E&E to put those things I just listed along with the signal mirror they listed, AMK Heat Sheet, a bunch of other essentials. When that RAT Izula comes out along with the RAT Fire Kit, this seems to be an overall good kit platform. Add a VIC-SAK Hunter, etc., and you have quite a nice little kit actually...and you can have it on your belt or on that Baldric-thingy. :)

You are right. That would be an amazing kit.

I went and ordered me one of those maxpedition bottle holders today to put on a baldric and use in the same aspect as your idea. I like the idea of a small kit on a baldric, and think you are on the right track!!!

Hey Don, the Tactical Tailor shop is just down the road from Fort Lewis where I'm visiting. I'll try and swing by this next week and take a look at it...it does look like the optimum size for E&E equipment with some nice features. Kind of expensive, but I have several TT products and they are built very well.
