Anyone into air rifles?

I'll throw my 2 cents in here as well. If you're going to get an airgun as an adult, get one that is worth it. Yes, you could save some bucks and get a cheap chinese made gun for less than $100 but it will break on you and you'll just have to get another one. At that point, you're out $200. For that, you could have gotten something worth while. So save yourself the trouble and do it right the first time. I went through this exact scenario with the cheap $80 chinese made Beemans. Then the trigger mechanism had something go horribly wrong after about 400 shots. I recently bought the RWS 34 Panther in .22 and added a Leapers scope and I couldn't be happier. Total cost $250. Compared to the cheap junk, the quality is orders of magnitude better. Great knockdown power (it was actually deforming the 1/4" steel trap I was using) and great accuracy. I've put 4 shots through the same hole at 10 yards. It kills cans with authority, just make sure you have a good back stop as it will go straight through the can. I've also heard great things about the Beemans actually made in germany (R7, R1, R9 etc) but I can't speak about them personally. However, they will run you a little more. In my opinion, the RWS 34 is the best bang for the buck around.
