I've found recently, that for as much joy as I get out of buying knives, I can get that same fix without buying knives, but rather by spending that money on enhancing knives that I have.
Recently I havent been buying that many knives, but rather accessorizing and improving the ones I have. Aftermarket scales that enhance the grip the "premium feel" and the aesthetics of the knife, custom leather sheaths that make an already great knife that much better to carry around, sending a knife to a pro sharpener, etc...
I don't need more. But if I can improve what I already have, I'm getting that much more enjoyment from my beloved hobby, and more use from the knives.
